The book launch on Tuesday night was the most beautiful blur of faces, conversations, books and food.
It was beyond brilliant to have so many friends and family there as well as all the clever people at Penguin and great to be able to pause for one evening to celebrate all of our hard work.
We held it at one of my favourite pubs, The Drapers Arms and served up lots of canapés from the book including chicken tikka, chilli paneer, beetroot and feta samosas. Graze had even made up a big batch of love cake from the book to serve up. (Thanks Ele and Anthony.)
All that food was washed down with the frat-sized party’s worth of delicious beer kindly given to us by Kingfisher and some apple and mango juice from innocent drinks.
It was the best Tuesday I’ve ever had. Thanks to everyone who came along.
