I am as happy as Pharell Williams to announce that I’m going to be cooking up a five course Indian Feast at The Drapers Arms in Islington on 7th October in order to raise money for Action Against Hunger. The tickets are limited and £40 with all proceeds going to help those who struggle to gain access to food. Here’s the menu:

Game samosas and plum chutney

Chilli paneer

Chaat masala chickpeas

Pani puri

crispy shells stuffed with black chickpeas &  sprouting mung beans served with mint and coriander water

Cumin butter masala chicken livers

served with mini chapattis pickled onions and coriander chutney

Coconut fish curry and lamb biryani

served with pomegranate and mint raita, chapattis and kachumbar

Gulab jamun with cardamom ice-cream

This whole idea came from food-filled mind of Nick Gibson, The Draper’s Arm’s fantastic publican who is along with a group of other chefs and food lovers will be cycling 400K across India to raise £100,000 for Action Against Hunger. What a man. You can either kiss him on the night in acknowledgement of his wonderfulness or sponsor him here.  Hope to see you there!
